This shoot is a beautiful shoot. Not only does it celebrate the female curves but also new life. Maternity or baby bump portraits are available as white, cream or grey backgrounds with body scape portraits too. In our maternity photography I love using fabrics to glide over your bump. Something you will want to capture and maybe put side by side in the nursery with your newborn portraits.
For our Maternity portraits we ideally take them from 30 weeks but booking can be taken once you have had your 20 week scan.

Booking info/ How to book.
You can secure an appointment in the studio with just a £50 session fee. This holds the studio for you. It also includes one ordering session and I like to gift you a 7 inch print of my choice as a thank you for selecting my studio.
You will be invited back roughly 1-2 weeks after for your ordering session. This is when you will see your finished gallery and make your selection for your package or bespoke products.

Consultation
Before you come to the studio I will have spoken with you are your consultation.
We will discuss among other things your preferred colours and style that you would like to include in your portrait.
We love to customise our shoots around your home decor, colours and preferences. If you have anything specific in mind please do let us know.
We do like to include your children in one or two of the maternity portraits.
As the shoot is a long process, we suggest photographing them at the end of the session.
Arranging for your child/ren to pop along at the end of the session works really well.
We will suggest clothing and colours to match the gowns we have in the studio.
Colours mostly used in the studio are, whites, creams, navy, light blue and claret. I have a few different backgrounds to choose from and will discuss with you which you would prefer and will help you select clothing to compliment your chosen background.
What to bring?
As you will be in the studio for some time, please bring with you refreshments. Treats for the children is a great idea as this will hold their attention when asking for them to pose with you. A little reward for their hard work is always appreciated. A hair brush is a must too.
Firstly we need to have you in the diary
Maternity Sessions take place from 30 weeks
The Session
The session will last between 60 and 90 minutes. You need to arrive with your hair and makeup ready and have a white, nude or black set of lingerie too. Please bring with you some ID if you would like to show your bump in our nude scape portraits.
Our diary is open Monday – Saturday. If you would like a Saturday appointment we recommend you book as early as possible as these dates are more desirable and are booked months in advance. Not only does this secure your preferred date. It also allows me to source props and colours to customise the styling of your shoot based on your requirements.
The Ordering Session
I must admit this is my favourite part.
I love to see your reaction to your portraits. It’s an incredible experience and often a little overpowering. I will talk you through packages and products creating something tailored around you and your needs
Pricing
We believe in being totally transparent with our pricing.
On booking a £50 non refundable shoot fee is required to secure your appointment.
At no time are you under any obligation to purchase a single image.
If you did however love your images we start by choosing a package starting from £299.
You are very welcome to add products to your chosen package from the a-la-cart menu too.
In time for your ordering session. I will have selected an image myself and had a complimentary print made.
