Family Portraits are something we all want to do. We have every intention to do it but somehow life gets in the way.
Before you know it your children have grown up and they are starting their next faze of their lives without you.
At New Generation Portraits our family portraits are designed around you and your individual family. Drawing out their characters with each photography session.
Family portraits are more than just pictures of you and your children. They are legacy portraits that hang on your walls for generation.
They build self confidence in our children and also a realisation of themselves within their family.
Roughly a week after the shoot you are invited back to see the images. This is that hard part……… How do you whittle them down?

Myself and my daughter visited Tracey after being gifted a mum and me shoot, for my birthday last year. I was pretty nervous beforehand as its totally out of my comfort zone. I had no reason to be as Tracey made me feel amazing throughout. The dresses looked stunning and I couldn’t have been happier with the final pictures. Tracey took lots of different poses and outfit changes which gave plenty to choose from. It’s one thing having lots of pictures/selfies on your phone but having a beautiful lasting professional photo that lasts a lifetime is something else. I absolutely couldn’t recommend them more. Visited New Generation Portraits yesterday for a photo shoot with my family and from start to finish the experience was fantastic. This was the first thing since covid started we had something to really enjoy and look forward to. She made us feel a million dollars we all loved the experience and can’t wait to see all the pictures which I’m sure will be beautiful. Thank you once again for a fantastic experience.

Family Portrait Pricing
Booking info/ How to book.
You can secure an appointment in the studio with just a £20 session fee. This holds the studio for you. It also includes one ordering session and I like to gift you a 7 inch print of my choice as a thank you for selecting my studio.
You will be invited back roughly 1-2 weeks after for your ordering session. This is when you will see your finished gallery and make your selection for your package or bespoke products.
Family Photo Session
We start with the consultation.
Im here to answer any of your questions and the best place to start is the consultation. What should I wear? What will happen? Where are you thinking of hanging your wall piece? What do I need to bring?
By chatting before your shoot we can discuss every step and every question. I will ask about your children and their personalities. If you think it will be beneficial for your child we can arrange for you to pop in before your shoot so they get to know me and my premises. Not only that, we get to know each other a little too.
How does it work?
You can expect your session to last between 30-60 minutes. We start off relaxed and informal and work up to much more fun portraits where the natural smiles and laughs are free flowing. I suggest bringing something in thats special to the children. Maybe a blanket or teddy. It’s really nice to include something dear to them in one or two images.
